Javi’s Taco Shack, originally El Mejor Taqueria, has been serving downtown Visalia since 2008 with fresh ingredients & exceptional service. After expanding in 2011 to include a bakery with Mexican pastries, breakfast & coffee, it quickly became a local favorite known for its weekly specials, express menu & late-night dining. Now, Javi’s Taco Shack is proud to announce its new location on South Mooney Blvd.

Javi’s Taco Shack, formerly known as El Mejor Taqueria, opened its doors in downtown Visalia in the fall of 2008 with a commitment to fresh ingredients and outstanding customer service. In December 2011, the restaurant expanded to include a full bakery offering freshly baked Mexican pastries, a breakfast menu, coffee & fresh fruit—all served in a warm & inviting atmosphere. Over the years, Javi’s Taco Shack has become one of downtown Visalia’s favorite dining spots, known for its weekly specials, express menu & late-night offerings that draw both locals & visitors from surrounding communities.
